Our School - School Chaplain

Hi my name is Pam Crass and I am your School Chaplain.

I feel very blessed to be chosen to attain this role and I look forward to supporting and working alongside the students, families and staff through assisting and supporting various school programs/ events,  providing pastoral care, linking the school with community and support agencies/organisations and overall supporting, mentoring and encouraging the school community.

A little bit of my background is that I was teaching in Early Child hood settings and NSW public schools, in Western Sydney for 21 years. I have experience from early childhood through to primary and include special needs. When I moved to Busselton in 2013, I became an EA at Geographe PS for two years under contract, where I lead a school initiative Literacy program called GELP for students in middle & upper primary, that involved taking small groups of students to work and improve literacy skills. Currently, I am still coordinating a musical /educational playgroup at Busselton Uniting Church on Tuesday and Thursday called Boppin Tots, where I have been able to already have established connections with some of the Busselton PS families in the two and half years I have been running it.

My office is open  Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays – 8.15am – 3.45pm in the Kakka Bakka Room, so feel free to pop in to say hi anytime and introduce yourself. I look forward to getting the chance to meet you and being part of this wonderful and caring community.

Chappy Pam Crass 😊
